Version 1.1.1 Latest
Notifications made smarter and more honest, and Campuslit is now also on Firefox Add-ons.
New
- Asked once. Campuslit asks in the toolbar popup whether you want alerts (Turn on, Not now, or Choose what to get). Nothing is checked until you say yes.
- Catch-up when you sign in. The moment you open a portal page after signing in, Campuslit looks at that portal and tells you what changed while you were away, so a laptop that was off overnight is no problem.
- Status in Settings. Shows when each portal was last checked, how long each sign-in has been working, and how long it lasted if it ended.
- On Firefox Add-ons. Install it from the Firefox Add-ons page as well as the Chrome Web Store.
Fixed
- Attendance now found on the real CMS dashboard. A page that names the attendance chart twice no longer hides your attendance from the checker.
- Retry after being offline. A look that could not reach the portals is tried again at the next quarter-hour, not after the whole interval.
Good to know
- The LMS is checked in the background while your browser is open and you are signed in. The CMS ends sessions quickly, so attendance alerts usually arrive when you next sign in to the CMS.
Version 1.1.0
Optional notifications arrive. They are off until you turn them on.
New
- Optional notifications. Alerts for a new assignment, quiz marks uploaded, a new lecture note, attendance marked present or absent, and 2 days, 24 hours and 7 hours before a deadline. Each one can be switched off on its own, and you choose how often Campuslit looks (every 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours).
- Sign-in notice. One notice when a portal sign-in ends, so alerts do not silently stop.
- Privacy. The privacy policy was updated for notifications, and Campuslit now asks the browser for two more permissions, alarms and notifications, used only for this feature.
Improved
- Custom theme updates instantly. Brand colour, mode and sidebar style apply as you change them, with a one-click Undo.
- LMS tables at narrow widths. Status pills stay tidy when the page is narrow or zoomed in, and wide tables scroll sideways instead of being cut off.
Version 1.0.1
A small release that changed the store listing, not how the pages look.
Changed
- The store name and summary now say what Campuslit is: Campuslit: Bahria University LMS & CMS Redesign.
- The Firefox build got its own name and add-on ID, so it can be listed on Firefox Add-ons.
Version 1.0.0
The first release, for the Chrome Web Store.
What it did
- Redesigned CMS and LMS. Login pages, dashboards, sidebars that collapse, and every other student page restyled. Same logins, same data.
- Six themes and a custom theme. Bahria, Crystal, Midnight, Linen, Grove and Bloom, plus your own colours, text size, spacing and typeface.
- Attendance planner. For each course, how many hours you can still miss, or must attend, to finish above 75%.
- Due soon and assignment reminder. A countdown card on the LMS Assignments page and a note on other pages naming your next open assignment.
- Week time table. A readable week view with Add to calendar.
- Quick search. Ctrl + K (or /) jumps to any menu page and forgives typos.
- First-run guide and privacy policy. A skippable tour, one-time hints and a plain privacy policy.
Before 1.0
Versions 0.2.0 and 0.3.0 were development builds from 18 October to 2 November 2026, used for testing and never published to the stores. They built up what 1.0.0 shipped, in this order:
- 18 to 19 October: the first CMS and LMS redesign, including the login pages.
- 25 October: the attendance planner.
- 27 October: the Due soon card, the assignment reminder, the time-table calendar export and quick search.
- 1 to 2 November: the theme picker in the popup, the first-run guide and the audited release packages.
